Nova Scotia Cannabis Retail Licence Opportunities
There are currently no opportunities for private retailers in Nova Scotia, as all cannabis outlets and online sales are authorized and regulated by the government-owned Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC). Unlike most provinces, Nova Scotia permits the sale of cannabis and alcohol at the same physical store location.
There are currently twelve dispensaries in Nova Scotia, whose locations were chosen based on population and accessibility. Depending on sales, it is expected that new Nova Scotia retail locations will open up in the near future.
The twelve locations are:
- Amherst
- Antigonish
- Bridgewater
- Dartmouth
- Halifax
- Lower Sackville
- New Glasgow
- New Minas
- Sydney River
- Truro
- Yarmouth
There are currently no plans for Nova Scotia to move to a private retail model. However, if that happens in the future, CannDelta will be here to help!
